Lofall: Water Pressure Dropped and Nobody Knows Why
Pressure that falls at every fixture, or drops when a second tap opens, often means the buried service line is leaking or has narrowed from corrosion.

"Sudden low water pressure whole house" is a question we hear from Lofall every month, and the answer here usually involves galvanized on canal-side cabins and beach deposits below the bluff. 360 Leak Finders is about half an hour north of Poulsbo, and we diagnose low water pressure before anything gets dug on parcels along Highway 3.
Why this happens in Lofall
Start with a leak on the service line. Water leaving the pipe underground never reaches the house. Around Pioneer Way and Kitsap Memorial State Park the housing dates from 1970s-to-2000s acreage homes and small farms, which makes this the likeliest answer to low water pressure.
Then a partially closed or failing valve. A main shutoff that was never fully reopened, or a gate valve whose gate has dropped. We've seen it near Kitsap Memorial State Park more than once, usually on brittle 1970s polyethylene.
Don't overlook corroded galvanized pipe. Rust builds up inside old steel pipe until the bore is a fraction of its original size. On Lofall properties from 1970s-to-2000s acreage homes and small farms it comes up more than you'd think.
