Marinas & Waterfront Facilities
Water lines along docks and bulkheads, high water tables, saturated ground that hides everything, and tidal influence on when a leak shows. Located acoustically, repaired with the shoreline in mind.

Marinas, yacht clubs, boat launches and waterfront commercial facilities around Bremerton, Port Orchard, Poulsbo, Kingston, Bainbridge and Port Townsend have water lines that run along bulkheads, under parking areas built on fill, and out to docks, through ground that's saturated by the tide twice a day. A leak here never shows as a wet spot because everything is wet. The sign is the meter, or a pressure drop at the far end of a dock, and the locate has to work in ground where water is the default.
Acoustic detection doesn't care that the ground is wet; it listens for pressurized water escaping the pipe, which sounds different from groundwater and tide. We trace the line along the bulkhead or the dock approach, correlate between access points, and pinpoint. Excavation on fill near a shoreline is done carefully with the bank and any environmental setbacks in mind, with spoils contained and the surface restored. For a facility with a line that has failed before, a continuous HDPE replacement on a documented route is the long-term answer.
What usually goes wrong, and what we do about it
A meter that runs with the facility closed
Overnight quantification and an acoustic locate along the bulkhead or dock approach.
Pressure loss at the far end of a dock
The line traced and correlated to the break; repair or replacement of the run.
Drainage ponding on a parking area built on fill
Storm system traced and rebuilt to a working outlet.
A planned dock or upland project
Private lines located and drawn before construction.
