About us

Built around one idea: find it first.

360 Leak Finders started because too many Kitsap yards were getting trenched on a guess. We bought the locating equipment, then the excavators, then the trucks, pumps and lights, and brought licensed plumbers onto the team, so one company can take a water leak from the first listen to the last rake stroke, outside the house or inside it.

We're a Kitsap County company. We're based in Central Kitsap, our everyday range runs from the Hood Canal Bridge and Hansville in the north to Olalla in the south and across the Agate Pass Bridge to Bainbridge Island, and we make dedicated trips to Port Townsend.

What we do

Underground water leak detection with acoustic ground microphones and a leak noise correlator. Interior leak detection with thermal imaging, acoustic sensors and moisture mapping, so a leak in a wall, ceiling or slab is found through one opening rather than several. Water service line repair and replacement in PEX and HDPE, from the meter or the well to the house. Interior water line repair, whole-house repipes and new water line rough-ins, done by the licensed plumbers on our team. New service lines for shops, ADUs and additions. Emergency response around the clock. Exterior drain work: footing drains, French drains, downspout lines, yard drains and failed drain line replacement. And the excavation that all of it requires, with our own excavators, loaders, trucks and crew. The same services run for commercial and multi-family properties.

What we don't do

We don't guess. We don't dig where the water surfaced and hope. We don't hand the excavation to another company and leave you waiting on two schedules. We don't bury a repair we wouldn't put under our own driveway. And we stay in our lane indoors: our interior work is the water supply system, meaning leak detection, repair, replacement and installation of water lines. Fixtures, drains, water heaters and general plumbing are a plumber's everyday work, not ours; we'll tell you when that's what you need.

How we work

Confirm the loss at the meter or the well. Trace the line's real route. Listen with the ground microphone and narrow with the correlator. Mark the break. Dig once, there. Decide repair or replace with the pipe exposed. Test before backfill. Bed in gravel, backfill in lifts, restore the surface. Write it up with photos. The full process is laid out step by step, and the reasoning behind it is in the resource library.

The ground we work in

Everything about leak detection on the Kitsap Peninsula comes back to the glacier. The till and hardpan on the uplands carry leak water sideways and surface it far from the break. The outwash in the valleys hides it entirely. The clay on the bluffs and on Bainbridge holds it for months and moves rigid pipe at every joint. We dig in all of it every week, and we've written up what we've learned in Kitsap County soils and why they make underground leaks so hard to find.

Licensing, bond and insurance

360 Leak Finders operates as a Washington State registered general contractor, L&I license UPPERLE788KZ, UBI 604861248, bonded and insured. Our registration, bond and insurance are listed on the Washington L&I contractor verify page for anyone to check. Exterior excavation, drainage and the buried service line are done under that registration with our own crew. Interior water line work, which is plumbing in Washington, is done by the licensed plumbers on our team, with permits pulled and inspections scheduled where the jurisdiction requires them. What licensed, bonded and insured actually means is written up in the resource library.

No waiting on a second company

Most leak repairs stall between the company that found it and the company that can dig. We run our own excavators, loaders, dump trucks, trailers and compaction equipment, and we carry the locating gear for both buried and interior lines, so one crew takes the job from the first listen to the last rake stroke.

Acoustic and locating gear

Sewerin ground microphones and a leak noise correlator for buried lines; Vivax-Metrotech pipe and cable locators to trace the route first; thermal cameras, acoustic contact sensors and moisture meters for interior lines.

Mini excavators and track loaders

Kubota mini excavators and compact track loaders that fit a side yard or a driveway, so the hole is opened, bedded and backfilled by the same crew that located the leak.

Dump trucks and flatbeds

An F-650 dump truck and an F-350 flatbed, with trailers, so bedding gravel and spoils move the same day instead of waiting on a hauler.

Compaction equipment

Vibratory rollers and plate compactors for backfilling in lifts, which is what keeps a repaired trench from settling under a driveway.

Pumps, lights and shoring

Trash pumps to clear a flooded pit, tripod lights for after-dark emergency work, and shoring for anything over four feet.

Licensed plumbers on the team

For interior leak repairs, repipes and rough-ins, done under our general contractor registration with permits pulled and inspections scheduled.
